{"id":30526,"date":"2025-10-30T18:09:06","date_gmt":"2025-10-30T18:09:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ca\/30526\/"},"modified":"2025-10-30T18:09:06","modified_gmt":"2025-10-30T18:09:06","slug":"1-dead-1-injured-when-car-crashes-in-anaheim-into-power-pole-orange-county-register","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ca\/30526\/","title":{"rendered":"1 dead, 1 injured when car crashes in Anaheim into power pole \u2013 Orange County Register"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A man was dead and a second injured after a solo car crash into a power pole in Anaheim Wednesday night, Oct. 29, with alcohol and nitrous oxide allegedly found in the car, authorities said.<\/p>\n<p>Anaheim police and firefighters were called just before 10 p.m. to North Muller Street and West Bayport Circle and found the two people trapped inside a Toyota Corolla, Anaheim police Sgt. Matt Sutter said.<\/p>\n<p>The passenger, believed to be a 19-year-old man, died at a hospital, while the 18-year-old driver was recovering, Sutter said.<\/p>\n<p>Driving under the influence \u201cis likely a factor in this incident,\u201d Sutter said.<\/p>\n<p>The Corolla ended up with the driver\u2019s side pinned against the power pole.
