Utah Royals FC vs Bay FC is now tied to a club-record run after Utah beat the Houston Dash 2-0 on Wednesday. Katie O’Kane scored the game winner and finished her first career brace as the Royals stretched their winning streak to five matches.

Katie O’Kane Delivers

O’Kane’s second goal made the difference and kept Utah perfect during the club’s five-match surge. Her brace gave the Royals a clean two-goal edge and pushed the result beyond a one-score match.

The dash through Wednesday came with a striking defensive mark attached. Utah has now gone 378 minutes without conceding, the longest shutout streak in club history.

Houston Dash Stall Late

Houston did not record a shot until the 79th minute. That left the Dash chasing the game deep into the second half without forcing Utah’s back line to absorb much pressure early.

The result mattered because both teams entered Wednesday above the playoff line. Utah’s win kept its first postseason push moving, while Houston stayed tied to the same crowded part of the table with far less momentum.

Royals Push Past the Line

Utah’s five straight wins and 378-minute shutout run give the club a sharper position in the playoff race than it had before Wednesday. The Royals have turned a narrow victory into a sustained run, and O’Kane’s brace now sits at the center of it.

[29
13793,4939,10309,85560,129981,15680,2668,88,90,89,34405,4591,1543,23855
post-309619","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","category-san-jose","tag-bay","tag-fifth","tag-katie","tag-leads","tag-okane","tag-royals","tag-run","tag-san-jose","tag-san-jose-headlines","tag-san-jose-news","tag-straight","tag-utah","tag-win","tag-with
["GET
