The star-studded lineup delivered a standout evening of comedy, music and purpose.

Wednesdays are for going Greek, according to Seth Rogen.

On May 6, Rogen and Lauren Miller Rogen brought “Seth Goes Greek” to The Greek Theatre. The annual Hilarity for Charity fundraiser stands as one of the most anticipated events of the Netflix is a Joke Festival, and it’s all in the name of giving. With the help of Michael Bublé, costumed as a boxy QR code with T-Rex arms, the event raised over $750,000 that will help support families affected by Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias.

“Hilarity for Charity has always been about reimagining how we show up for Alzheimer’s and every comedian, every artist, every person in that audience showed up for something bigger than themselves,” the husband-wife duo said. “This community continues to show that you can care deeply and still find joy, and that’s powerful.”

The audience enjoyed a star-studded, open-air evening lineup of comedic genius, magic and music nestled within Griffith Park. The incredible lineup of performances, hosted by Rogen himself, included Josh Gad, Eric André, Nikki Glaser, Nick Kroll, Justin Willman, Sarah Silverman, Jon Stewart, Bublé and — to the audience’s great surprise — Busta Rhymes.

Josh Gad opened the show singing to a backdrop of fallen Greek columns and crumbled stone. A political current ran through the majority of comedians’ sets, giving the backdrop a feeling reminiscent of the neoclassic architecture of our own crumbling political center. Jon Stewart was a likely culprit, but he wasn’t the only comedian calling out the likes of Kanye “F– that guy” West, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., President Donald Trump and the like.

Justin Willman’s act took viewers in a more magical direction. Willman reminded everyone to live in the moment when a seemingly random grouping of audience-led calculations totaled that exact moment in the evening: May 6, 2026, at 9:13 PM. Busta Rhymes was all smiles with a performance that had the crowd on their feet. Rhymes proved he knows what an audience wants, flying through hit after hit from his 30-plus-year career as phone flashlights lit up the theatre during a moment of gratitude.
