{"id":310589,"date":"2026-05-11T17:53:07","date_gmt":"2026-05-11T17:53:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ca\/310589\/"},"modified":"2026-05-11T17:53:07","modified_gmt":"2026-05-11T17:53:07","slug":"alarm-system-scares-off-would-be-burglars-during-beverly-grove-break-in-nbc-los-angeles","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ca\/310589\/","title":{"rendered":"Alarm system scares off would-be burglars during Beverly Grove break in \u2013 NBC Los Angeles"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Authorities are searching for would-be burglars who entered a Beverly Grove home while residents were inside late Sunday night.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the home alarm system went off when the burglars entered the residence and they were scared off.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The break-in happened just before 11 p.m. on Sunday on the 8200 block of Oakwood Avenue. <\/p>\n<p>An LAPD helicopter was seen circling the neighborhood trying to find any signs of the suspects.
