NEW YORK (AP) \u2014 Vegas Golden Knights defenceman Brayden McNabb has been suspended for Game 6<\/a> of the team\u2019s second-round playoff series Thursday in Anaheim for his late hit that injured Ducks centre Ryan Poehling<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The NHL\u2019s Department of Player Safety announced the suspension<\/a> Wednesday, hours after holding a disciplinary hearing with him about the hit.<\/p>\n

McNabb was given a five-minute major penalty for interference and ejected nine minutes into Game 5 on Tuesday. While the hit was shoulder to shoulder, it came long after the puck was gone.<\/p>\n
