Capitol Avenue.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">\u201cAn adult female victim inside the residence reported she was assaulted by three suspects with an unknown object,\u201d SJPD said in a statement to KRON4.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">The woman was taken to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">San Jose police said they surrounded the residence and were later able to negotiate a peaceful surrender of the suspects, adding, \u201cFive subjects exited the residence and two suspects were taken into custody without incident.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">It is not clear why the other three people were not taken in custody or what their involvement was in the incident.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">This is an active case.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Copyright 2026 Nexstar Media, Inc.
