Some runoff impacted a storm drain, but officials said there were no concerns about the drinking water.<\/p>\n<p>A video of the blaze posted on Facebook showed bright orange flames shooting skyward in front of the facility.<\/p>\n<p>Neither the Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation nor the Cal Fire\/Riverside County Fire Department could be reached for comment.<\/p>\n<p>The corrections department previously announced it would be <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pressenterprise.com\/2025\/08\/04\/norco-prison-will-close-in-2026-state-officials-say\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">closing the Norco prison by this fall<\/a>.
