The San Jose Police Department launched an investigation after the stores reported $4,500 in balls missing.<\/p>\n<p>Advertisement<\/p>\n<p>Advertisement<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">When police officers and deputies from the sheriff&#8217;s Retail Theft Task Force searched Pu&#8217;s home on Pas Los Cerritos, they found a stockpile of golf balls still in their packaging. Photos released by the sheriff&#8217;s office show stacks of boxed golf balls, as well as a pile of empty Target bags.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Authorities believe Pu was reselling the golf balls online, the sheriff&#8217;s office said.
