Gavin Sheets and Nick Castellanos<\/a> hit homers off Seattle Mariners starting pitcher Logan Gilbert<\/a> and the San Diego<\/a> Padres earned a 7-4 win at T-Mobile Park<\/a> on Saturday night. Sheets opened the scoring with a solo home run in the top of the second inning to put the Padres up 1-0. With San Diego leading 2-0, Castellanos hit with a three-run home run in the top of the fourth inning to make the score 5-0. That was all the run support Walker Buehler<\/a> would need. The right-hander allowed two runs<\/a> on five hits over five innings of work. Buehler walked two and struck out six. Rodolfo Duran tacked on two runs in the top of the seventh inning with a two-run homerun, which was also his first hit in MLB. San Diego will look to complete the sweep of Seattle today at 4:20 p.m.<\/p>\n

David Morgan was sent to the minors to work on his command issues that suddenly popped up this season.
