Capitol Avenue.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAn adult female victim inside the residence reported she was assaulted by three suspects with an unknown object,\u201d SJPD said in a statement to KRON4.<\/p>\n<p>The woman was taken to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.<\/p>\n<p>San Jose police said they surrounded the residence and were later able to negotiate a peaceful surrender of the suspects, adding, \u201cFive subjects exited the residence and two suspects were taken into custody without incident.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>It is not clear why the other three people were not taken in custody or what their involvement was in the incident.<\/p>\n<p>This is an active case.<\/p>\n<p>Copyright 2026 Nexstar Media, Inc.
