(KERO) \u2014 An inmate escaped from Kern Medical in East Bakersfield on Wednesday morning and was caught in a nearby neighborhood shortly after, according to the Kern County Sheriff&#8217;s Office.<\/p>\n<p>The sheriff&#8217;s office says they responded to the escape of inmate Vincent Deleon, 45, from Kern Medical around 11 a.m. <\/p>\n<p>Deleon was transported to Kern Medical for a scheduled appointment when he escaped, according to KCSO. <\/p>\n<p>Deleon was taken into custody about an hour and a half later without invident in a neighborhood on Quincy Street near West and Orange drives. <\/p>\n<p>This is a developing story and will be updated as more information becomes available. <\/p>\n<p>Stay in Touch with Us Anytime, Anywhere:<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"BAKERSFIELD, Calif.
