{"id":325131,"date":"2026-05-20T21:07:09","date_gmt":"2026-05-20T21:07:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ca\/325131\/"},"modified":"2026-05-20T21:07:09","modified_gmt":"2026-05-20T21:07:09","slug":"trump-invests-in-this-socal-based-restaurant-chain","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ca\/325131\/","title":{"rendered":"Trump Invests In This SoCal-Based Restaurant Chain"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>IRVINE, CA \u2014 President Donald Trump recently bought a stake in the California-based sushi conveyor belt chain Kura Sushi USA, according to reports this week.<\/p>\n<p>The president\u2019s most recent financial disclosures revealed he bought $1 million to $5 million in the company\u2019s stock on Feb. 2, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.restaurantbusinessonline.com\/financing\/president-trump-takes-stake-kura-sushi\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Restaurant Business reported<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>A Trump Organization spokesperson has said Trump\u2019s assets are independently managed by third-party institutions, and he is not involved in trading decisions, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bloomberg.com\/news\/articles\/2026-05-18\/trump-filing-reveals-stake-in-sushi-chain-alongside-big-tech\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">according to Bloomberg<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Kura Sushi USA is America\u2019s largest revolving sushi restaurant brand. Headquartered in Irvine, it was established in 2008 as a subsidiary of Japan-based Kura Sushi.
