Two months after they reportedly\u00a0tied the knot<\/a>, Zendaya and Tom Holland are already growing their family.<\/p>\n The actors adopted a pocket bully from a shelter in Oakland during a recent visit, Zendaya told Elle<\/a> magazine.\u00a0<\/p>\n “Logistically, it wasn\u2019t probably the smartest idea,\u201d the Oakland native said in the interview, conducted in April and published Thursday, May 21. \u201cBut emotionally, it was. He\u2019s a wonderful addition to our family. I saw his little face and I was like, \u2018I can\u2019t leave you behind.'”\u00a0<\/p>\n Article continues below this ad<\/p>\n Avid animal lovers, Zendaya and Holland already have two dogs: Noon, a miniature schnauzer, and Daphne, a doberman pinscher. Holland\u2019s childhood dog Tessa, a Staffordshire bull terrier, died in April 2024.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n Though it may be the busiest year of her career yet, the actor is still finding time to reconnect with her roots. Zendaya revealed during the Elle interview that she went full \u201cauntie mode\u201d during a recent Oakland trip. In April, while in Rome for \u201cThe Drama<\/a>\u201d premiere, Zendaya gave a special shout out to Arizmendi bakery<\/a> in Oakland.<\/p>\n Article continues below this ad<\/p>\n Aside from \u201cThe Drama,\u201d which hit theaters April 3, and Season 3 of \u201cEuphoria<\/a>,\u201d currently streaming on HBO, Zendaya is slated for jam-packed media tours to promote \u201cThe Odyssey\u201d (July 17), \u201cSpider-Man: Brand New Day\u201d (July 31) and \u201cDune: Part Three\u201d (Dec. 18) in the coming months.<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s going to be a long year, but what\u2019s great is that I\u2019m really proud of everything. I just really love my job,\u201d Zendaya said.\u00a0<\/p>\n She quickly admitted, however, \u201cI think that after this, I\u2019m going to have to take a little bit of a break.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n Zendaya stars alongside Holland in both \u201cSpider-Man: Brand New Day\u201d and \u201cThe Odyssey,\u201d though she told Elle they won\u2019t have any scenes together in the latter. Fans began to speculate that the two were engaged<\/a> in January 2025, when Zendaya walked the Golden Globe Awards red carpet wearing a diamond on her ring finger. Holland\u2019s father later confirmed the news.\u00a0<\/p>\n In March, Law Roach<\/a>, Zendaya\u2019s longtime stylist and friend, told Access Hollywood that the couple had already gotten married. Zendaya, however, has yet to confirm the news.
