“For almost 40 years Piedmont schools have depended on local parcel taxes to supplement limited state funding. Measure H continues this local support. Even though many of us no longer have children or grandchildren in the schools, the continued quality of Piedmont schools helps property values stay strong. Whenever we eventually decide to sell our homes, families will be eager to move to Piedmont for the schools.”

“Our Piedmont schools receive significantly less money from the state compared to other school districts. Measure H provides essential funding for reading, writing, and language. Measure H also helps fund music, visual and performing arts.”

“The quality of our schools is the backbone of our community. The renewal of this parcel tax – not an increase – ensures our local schools remain among the best in the region and the state.”

“Over the years, our community has invested in the Piedmont schools through its support of a local parcel tax. Passage of Measure H, a continuation of this ongoing support, is essential to maintain the quality of Piedmont schools.”
