(KOLO) &#8211; A 33-year-old man driving a Honda Fit made an unsafe turning movement into the path of an oncoming Chevrolet Tahoe on U.S. Route 50 near Sierra Ski Ranch Road in Twin Bridges around 5:03 p.m. Saturday, May 23, causing a collision, according to a California Highway Patrol Report of Collision.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Medical personnel pronounced the Honda driver deceased at the scene. The man was from Sacramento. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The 41-year-old driver of the Chevrolet, Sergey Panasenko of North Highlands, was transported to Barton Hospital with moderate injuries, according to the Sunday, May 24, release.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Alcohol, drugs, and speed are not believed to be factors at this time, officers said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">At this time, the cause of the traffic collision and the sequence of events remain under investigation.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Information concerning the name of the deceased is being withheld pending notification of the next of kin. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The California Highway Patrol Report of Collision was written and submitted by Sgt. R. Henderson at 11:59 p.m.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Fatal victim information is releasable through the coroner. The coroner\u2019s case number is 26-3571.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Any witnesses with information regarding this traffic collision are asked to call Officer M.
