PONTIAC, Mich. \u2013 Police are asking for the public\u2019s help in the investigation of a fatal shooting in Pontiac.<\/p>\n

Deputies were called around 10 p.m. Sunday (May 24) to a home on Central Avenue, near Woodward Avenue, where they found 25-year-old Brian Washington Jr. suffering from a gunshot wound to the neck, the Oakland County Sheriff\u2019s Office said.<\/p>\n

Washington was taken to Metro Detroit hospital, where he later died<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Investigators said Washington was found inside a bedroom. <\/p>\n

Shell casings were discovered outside a window to that room, according to authorities.<\/p>\n

No arrests have been announced.<\/p>\n

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Oakland County Sheriff\u2019s Office or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-SPEAK-UP.<\/p>\n

Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $2,000 for information leading to an arrest in the case. Tipsters can remain anonymous.<\/p>\n
