[Many questions left unanswered as OCU employees miss second paycheck<\/a>]<\/p>\n Employees have not yet received any of those dollars, and got word from the university Tuesday afternoon the status has not changed.<\/p>\n We\u2019ve also learned students have struggled to get through to university officials, to get their transcripts, ask about deposit refunds, or learn about next steps.<\/p>\n \u201cEspecially the first couple of days after, when it was time for action, there was a lot of lack of information in those parts. It just kind of felt like a free for all. Everybody that I talked to just kind of felt like they were in the same boat. Just apply and hope everything works itself out in the middle, which isn\u2019t how it should be,\u201d one current student said.<\/p>\n Some students we\u2019ve spoke with have already paid for next year\u2019s housing or summer classes, with no word on getting that money back.<\/p>\n The president is currently the person in charge of registrar duties like transcripts.<\/p>\n We have reached out to the university for comment and have not heard back.<\/p>\n Employees tell us they have been pushing back to the administration.<\/p>\n They were asked to return their office keys on May 28, three days before they are officially laid off, but we\u2019ve been told many are refusing to turn in their supplies until they get paid.<\/p>\n We know the Indiana Department of Labor has received three wage claims from OCU employees.<\/p>\n To file a wage claim, contact the Indiana Department of Labor at (317) 232-2655 or get more information at www.in.gov\/dol<\/a>.<\/p>\n
