The current treasurer and tax collector is Jordan Kaufman, whose term is set to end in January 2027.<\/p>\n

Desired office: \u201cI am seeking the office of Treasurer-Tax Collector because I have dedicated my professional life to serving in local government, specifically in areas of finance and investment. Being the Assistant Treasurer-Tax Collector has given me firsthand knowledge of the office and its importance to the County and entire community, and I\u2019m proud to continue serving as your next Treasurer-Tax Collector.\u201d<\/p>\n

Political philosophy: \u201cAs a non-partisan office, it\u2019s important and necessary that politics do not interfere with performing my duties in an ethical, consistent, and fair manner. The Treasurer-Tax Collector must manage the County\u2019s treasury pool prioritizing the safety of principal, ensuring sufficient liquidity for daily operations, and earning a market rate of return. Keeping politics out of the office allows decisions to be made impartially, resulting in the best decisions for pool participants and equal treatment of all taxpayers.\u201d<\/p>\n
