(FOX40.COM) \u2014 Halloween is one of the busiest and spookiest nights of the year here in Sacramento, so FOX40 is taking you to the famous \u2018Fab 40\u2019s\u2019 neighborhood.<\/p>\n
\u201cThey\u2019re always on point around here. Always,\u201d One neighbor said.<\/p>\n
\u201cHappy Halloween,\u201d families said.<\/p>\n
You hear a lot of that \u2014 strutting down Sacramento\u2019s 40th through 49th streets.<\/p>\n
Decorations, lights, candy and, of course, plenty of unique characters took over east Sacramento.<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019m dressed as Elpheba and I\u2019m dressed as Glinda,\u201d two 15-year-olds said.<\/p>\n
\u201cThis is our first time dressing up as a family, so we are a group of astronauts,\u201d one local family said. \u201cWe\u2019ve got our little alien that we\u2019re very excited about!\u201d<\/p>\n
All these friendly \u2014 or maybe not-so friendly \u2014 faces told FOX40 their own personal favorite parts of this annual trick-or-treating tradition.<\/p>\n
\u201cWatching her light up,\u201d a proud father said.<\/p>\n
\u201cGlinda\u201d said the streets feel like magic and take you on adventures and places you never expected to stumble across in Sacramento.<\/p>\n
\u201cThey all have themes and it\u2019s just, like a very, magical moment,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n
Other young trick-or-treaters said trick-or-treating and raking in the candy is unbeatable.<\/p>\n
This Halloween FOX40 also spotlighted some of the people who make it all happen.<\/p>\n
Neighbors like Pamela and Michael said the fun isn\u2019t just for the kids.<\/p>\n
\u201cKids are coming, they have great costumes, so we are having a lot of fun,\u201d Michael said. \u201cWe\u2019re putting candy out. We\u2019re dancing.\u201d<\/p>\n
According to some residents, in this community, there\u2019s no such thing as too early. They said some families began the action around 3:30 p.m. or even earlier.<\/p>\n
Before we hang up the costumes and start thinking about what this whimsical strip of our community will look like for Christmas, FOX40 asked some happy people for one more message for good measure.<\/p>\n
\u201cHappy Halloween!!!!!\u201d they screamed.<\/p>\n
