A rising coffee competitor that is giving Starbucks<\/a> and Dunkin\u2019 Donuts<\/a> a run for their money will be expanding westward in the very near future.<\/p>\n

7 Brew Coffee \u2013 a chain based in Rogers, Arkansas and has been rapidly expanding \u2013 is planning to open its first three stores in California.<\/p>\n

Two proposals have been filed to open 7 Brew shops in Visalia, California, one at 2800 N. Dinuba Blvd. and the other at 3627 S. Mooney Blvd.<\/p>\n

7 Brew Coffee \u2013 a chain based in Rogers, Arkansas and has been rapidly expanding \u2013 is planning to open its first three stores in California.<\/p>\n

The chain also filed a design review application in Roseville, California for a 911-square-foot stand at 10201 Fairway Drive, via Sacramento Bee<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Another shop in Clovis, California is in the works, with a 910-square-foot shop with dual drive-thru is being eyed for a lot on the corner of Shaw and Clovis avenues, via Your Central Valley<\/a>.<\/p>\n

All of these plans have not been finalized by the various cities as of yet, and it\u2019s unclear which of these stores would be the first to open for business in the Golden State.<\/p>\n

7 Brew was founded by Ron Crume, with the first store opening in Rogers, Arkansas in 2017, and in under a decade, it has expanded quite rapidly.<\/p>\n

It grew to seven stands by 2020, the same year the brand was purchased by an entrepreneurial group dedicated to, \u201coffering an unmatched experience spreading kindness and positivity with speed and customized handcrafted drinks.\u201d<\/p>\n

The name 7 Brew was derived from their 7 Originals brews \u2013 Blondie (Vanilla + Caramel Breve), Sweet & Salty (Salted Caramel + White Chocolate Breve), Cinnamon Roll (Brown Sugar Cinnamon + White Chocolate Breve), Brunette (Hazelnut + Chocolate Mocha), Banana Bread (Banana + Hazelnut Mocha), Smooth 7 (Irish Creme + White Chocolate Breve) and Cookie Butter (Toasted Marshmallow + Hazelnut + White Chocolate Breve).<\/p>\n

Now their expanded menu includes a whopping 20,000 flavor combinations, and they began franchising in 2021 while expanding the menu to energy drinks, lemonades, smoothies, shakes and more.<\/p>\n

They had expanded to 38 stores by 2023, but an equity investment from Blackstone<\/a> in 2024 and a 2025 acquisition of its second biggest franchisee, 7 Crew, ramped up expansion even more.<\/p>\n

There are 738 7 Brew stores in 38 states, with sales surging from $500 million in 2024 to $1.2 billion in 2025, though it\u2019s still far from Dunkin\u2019s $12 billion in annual US sales.<\/p>\n

Still, 7 Brew has an edge when it comes to pricing, over both Dunkin and Starbucks.<\/p>\n

A 24-ounce iced blonde vanilla latte at Starbucks can cost about $6.55 and a medium iced latte at Dunkin\u2019 around $5.49. Comparable 7 Brew drinks cost between $4.75 and $5.15, depending on location.<\/p>\n
