The Forum Carlsbad Welcomes Tecovas and Abercrombie & Fitch
Two iconic brands are joining North County\u2019s retail scene this fall. Tecovas, the fast-growing Western-wear brand from Austin, opened its first North County store on Oct. 31, with live music, complimentary drinks, gift bags for early shoppers, and in-store leather stamping. Abercrombie & Fitch will debut its new Carlsbad location in November, offering classic denim, outerwear, and everyday essentials. Ward Kampf, president of Northwood Retail, said both brands are a strong fit for the community and the center\u2019s evolving shopping mix.<\/p>\n

JobElephant Celebrates 25 Years
From a garage startup to an AI-powered recruitment leader, JobElephant is marking its 25th anniversary. The San Diego-based company now processes more than 93,000 job ads monthly, pioneering the shift from newspaper classifieds to predictive hiring technology. CEO and Founder Michael Ang reflects on the journey that began on Oct. 4, 2000, the same day his daughter was born, emphasizing the company\u2019s mission to connect organizations with top talent through innovative solutions. DIP Studio marks fourth anniversary

SDCCU offers free holiday savings webinars
San Diego County Credit Union is hosting two free webinars, \u201cThriving Through the Holidays,\u201d on Nov. 5 and 12. Target expands next-day delivery and clothing recycling program
Target is rolling out next-day delivery for San Diego shoppers, covering hundreds of thousands of items for delivery the day after ordering. Next-day delivery is free for orders over $35, and Target Circle 360 members can access the service with no minimum. Additionally, Target is expanding its Clothing Take Back Program to 37 California stores, including eight in the San Diego area, providing an easy way for customers to recycle unwanted clothing responsibly. Participating local stores include locations in Escondido, Oceanside, San Diego, Spring Valley, and Vista.<\/p>\n

U.S. Postal Service previews 2026 stamp program
The U.S. Postal Service released an early preview of its 2026 stamp program, featuring a mix of cultural icons, American history, and nature-themed designs. Highlights include stamps honoring Muhammad Ali and Bruce Lee; a Black Heritage issue for Phillis Wheatley; a Lowriders pane; seasonal sets such as Sunflowers and \u201cA Day at the Beach\u201d; commemorative issues for Route 66 and Colorado statehood; and wildlife-themed panes including bald eagles and squirrels, and chipmunks. Postal products and stamps will be available through the Postal Store, select post offices, and the USPS Officially Licensed Collection on Amazon.
