(KFSN) &#8212; A Fresno Police officer could soon be facing charges of domestic violence and assault with a deadly weapon.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">30-year-old Efren Lopez was arrested after Fresno County Sheriff&#8217;s deputies responded to a home on Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">Lopez was off-duty at the time and booked in jail with bail set at $100,000. He bonded out that same day.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">The sheriff&#8217;s office is handling the investigation.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">The Fresno Police Department says Lopez has been placed on administrative leave pending an internal affairs investigation.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">If you are the victim of domestic abuse, or you know someone who is, there is help available 24\/7.
