Loaded with top-young talent, the Ducks may begin to explore taking the next steps in their rebuild process.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">Led by young stars Leo Carlsson, Jackson LaCombe, Cutter Gauthier and others, the Ducks made the second-round of the NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs, losing to the Vegas Golden Knights, who have made their way to the Stanley Cup Final.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">As Ducks GM Pat Verbeek looks to further improve his roster for next season, one player he is willing to take calls on is young forward Mason McTavish.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">McTavish, 23, is entering the second year of a seven-year, $42 million contract.
