SAN JOSE \u2013 A possible road-rage incident ended in a shooting Tuesday afternoon outside Valley Fair mall, police said.<\/p>\n
Officers were called to a parking lot in the 2800 block of Stevens Creek Boulevard just after 4 p.m. for a report of a person shot, according to the San Jose Police Department. They arrived to find the victim suffering from at least one gunshot wound.<\/p>\n
The victim was taken to an area hospital and was in stable condition, police said.<\/p>\n
According to police, \u201ca preliminary investigation revealed the suspect and victim may have been involved in a road-rage incident that resulted in the subsequent shooting.\u201d<\/p>\n
The suspect was arrested nearby and booked into Santa Clara County jail, police said, adding that a firearm was also recovered. No other details were released Tuesday.<\/p>\n
