In the quarterfinals on Friday, May 29, Poole blazed the track with a time of 49.10s, placing second in his heat and earning a bid to the NCAA Championships.<\/p>\n<p>In his quarterfinal race, Poole broke his own Oakland school record, marking the second time this season he has broken his own all-time mark.
