The person riding the scooter was found injured in the roadway, police said in a news release.<\/p>\n<p>Responding officers attempted life-saving efforts, but the individual was pronounced dead at the scene. The Citrus Heights Police Department did not identify the person who died.<\/p>\n<p>The vehicle\u2019s driver is cooperating with police, according to a release.
