(KGET) \u2014 The Bakersfield Police Department is asking for the community\u2019s assistance in identifying a man who allegedly broke into a storage unit and stole personal items on May 14.<\/p>\n<p>The alleged incident was reported in the 4600 block of Buck Owens Boulevard at about 5 a.m. when a man forced entry into a storage unit and stole personal items.<\/p>\n<p><img alt=\"\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"960\" height=\"640\" decoding=\"async\" data-nimg=\"1\" class=\"standard-img w-full w-full h-auto\" style=\"color:transparent\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/https:\/\/media.zenfs.com\/en\/aol_kget_bakersfield_articles_632\/6adb84d69a13d152a93cd3df7787448d.jpeg\"\/><img alt=\"\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"960\" height=\"640\" decoding=\"async\" data-nimg=\"1\" class=\"standard-img w-full w-full h-auto\" style=\"color:transparent\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/https:\/\/media.zenfs.com\/en\/aol_kget_bakersfield_articles_632\/2f34e412596d799be4959e22bb610c88.jpeg\"\/><\/p>\n<p>The Bakersfield Police Department described the man as in his 30s, 5 feet, 10 inches tall with a slim build.
