Two teenagers were fatally shot following an argument at a Halloween party Friday night in Chula Vista, police said.<\/p>\n
Officers were called to East Prospect Street near Hilltop Drive around 11:17 p.m. Friday, where they found a 17-year-old and 15-year-old suffering from gunshot wounds, according to the Chula Vista Police Department.<\/p>\n
Officers administered life-saving measures until both victims were rushed to UC San Diego Medical Center, according to police. Despite resuscitation efforts, they both died at the hospital.<\/p>\n
Their names were not being released until their families could be notified, according to the CVPD.<\/p>\n
Police said the investigation is still ongoing but they determined the victims were attending a Halloween party when an argument occurred, which led to shots being fired.<\/p>\n
The department is trying to locate witnesses. Investigators also believe there is a likelihood that witnesses would have used their cell phones to record the fight.<\/p>\n
