{"id":341385,"date":"2026-06-01T13:24:07","date_gmt":"2026-06-01T13:24:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ca\/341385\/"},"modified":"2026-06-01T13:24:07","modified_gmt":"2026-06-01T13:24:07","slug":"1-killed-in-3-car-crash-caused-by-oakland-county-man-police-say","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ca\/341385\/","title":{"rendered":"1 killed in 3-car crash caused by Oakland County man, police say"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">BLOOMFIELD, Mich. \u2013 One person was killed in a three-car crash caused by a speeding driver who ran a light in Oakland County, police said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">Police said the crash happened around 11 p.m. May 30, 2026, on southbound Woodward Avenue and Big Beaver Road in Bloomfield Township.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">A 34-year-old Troy man was driving a 2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee west on Big Beaver Road and ran a red light, according to authorities.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">He caused a crash with a 30-year-old Farmington man who was driving a 2007 Toyota Camry, police said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">The Farmington man was killed in the crash.
