(KBAK\/KBFX) \u2014 Bakersfield\u2019s annual Independence Day celebration and free fireworks show will return to The Park at River Walk in 2026, with the <a href=\"https:\/\/us250tour.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">U.S. 250 Tour <\/a>joining the event.<\/p>\n<p>The fireworks show is scheduled for Friday, July 3, 2026, at the park. The day\u2019s events are set to begin at 10 a.m. and culminate with fireworks starting at 9:30 p.m.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Park at Riverwalk KBAK\/KBFX\" class=\"ImageEmbed_image__qZBo_\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/a4095592-8ebc-4279-9a66-dabc212dad11-large16x9_VASQUEZRIVERWALK_0021_frame_0.jpeg\"\/><\/p>\n<p>Park at Riverwalk KBAK\/KBFX<\/p>\n<p>The celebration will include the US 250 Tour\u2019s Freedom Village, a live music performance, family-friendly activities, and a multimedia production of American history featuring a \u201cHall of Giants\u201d hologram experience with Benjamin Franklin.<\/p>\n<p>Parkgoers may see the event setup as early as July 2. Traffic closures in the area are set to begin at 9 p.m. and are expected to end around 11 p.m.<\/p>\n<p>Comment with Bubbles<\/p>\n<p>BE THE FIRST TO COMMENT<\/p>\n<p>Alcohol will not be permitted in the park during the celebration, and glass containers of any kind are prohibited.
