That initial batch will include Vote by Mail ballots and early Vote Center ballots returned and processed through Monday, June 1, 2026.<\/p>\n
Officials plan to update results two or three times on election night. The second wave, covering ballots cast at Election Day Vote Centers, is expected by 10:15 p.m., with additional updates every two hours as needed until all centers have reported.<\/p>\n
After election night, Sacramento County will continue posting results twice per week. The schedule for these updates is available on the county elections website<\/a>.<\/p>\n New state laws aiming to shorten the timeline for counting ballots are also affecting local election offices.
