Upon searching the vehicle, officers found numerous bundles of drugs hidden inside a large plastic bin and a trash bag in the trunk. The driver of the vehicle, whose identity has not been disclosed, now faces multiple state drug charges.<\/p>\n
This significant drug bust comes shortly after U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers seized 163 pounds of methamphetamine at the California-Mexico border, further highlighting the ongoing efforts of law enforcement agencies to combat drug trafficking.
