STANTON, CA \u2014 Two women were killed when they were hit by a BMW in Orange County Monday night, police said. <\/p>\n
Dispatchers received multiple 911 calls around 9 p.m. reporting that a BMW had struck two pedestrians at the intersection of Magnolia and Cerritos avenues in Stanton, according to the Orange County Sheriff’s Department. <\/p>\n
Upon arrival, deputies found two women down in the street who had been hit by the vehicle. They were taken to a local hospital where they died of their injuries. <\/p>\n
The victims’ identities have not been released, but one woman was said to be in her 30s and the other in her 60s. <\/p>\n
The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with police. <\/p>\n
According to KTLA, video from the scene showed a white BMW with a shattered front windshield and heavily damaged hood. <\/p>\n
