Sacramento police arrested a 19-year-old Sacramento man Tuesday who allegedly used swastikas to intimidate and terrorize people, authorities said Wednesday.<\/p>\n
The man, Feyd Hayden Pounds, is being held on $100,000 bail at the Sacramento County Main Jail on suspicion of a felony hate crime charge of terrorizing by placing a symbol on private property and a misdemeanor charge of interfering with civil rights through threats or force, according to jail logs.<\/p>\n
Jail logs show police took Pounds into custody Tuesday on an arrest warrant.<\/p>\n
In July 2025, police received reports of two vandalism incidents involving swastikas in the 4600 block of U Street in Elmhurst, near the UC Davis Medical Center, the Sacramento Police Department said in a news release<\/a> Wednesday.<\/p>\n Investigators determined the acts of vandalism were “bias-motivated” and later located Pounds, who had made “repeated” antisemitic statements on social media, the release said. Pounds also directly referenced involvement in the vandalism incidents in Elmhurst, police said.<\/p>\n Pounds is scheduled to be arraigned at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, according to Sacramento Superior Court logs.<\/p>\n Anyone with information was asked to contact Sacramento police dispatchers at 916-808-5471 or Sacramento Valley Crime Stoppers<\/a> at 916-443-4357.
