Long Beach is threatening to jail e-bike, e-scooter and motorized scooter riders if they violate a recent ban. <\/p>\n
Long Beach\u2019s ban, according to News 12 Long Island<\/a>, comes with penalties of up to 15 days in jail and up to a $500 fine for riders who operate the devices on the city\u2019s boardwalk, beach and sidewalks. <\/p>\n Banning the devices is in vogue on Long Island, with Nassau County passing a legally dubious ban on their use.
