{"id":349080,"date":"2026-06-06T04:32:09","date_gmt":"2026-06-06T04:32:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ca\/349080\/"},"modified":"2026-06-06T04:32:09","modified_gmt":"2026-06-06T04:32:09","slug":"san-jose-man-arrested-on-suspicion-of-grand-theft-vandalism","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ca\/349080\/","title":{"rendered":"San Jose man arrested on suspicion of grand theft, vandalism"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>SAN JOSE \u2014 Authorities on Friday announced the arrest of a 53-year-old San Jose man they say stole $50,000 worth of electric vehicle charging equipment from a business in the Santa Teresa neighborhood.<\/p>\n<p>The thefts happened March 30 and May 10 in the parking lot of a business in the first block of Great Oaks Boulevard, San Jose police spokesperson Stacie Shih said in a news release.<\/p>\n<p>Shih said detectives used surveillance footage to identify the suspect vehicle and the suspect.<\/p>\n<p>On May 21, detectives found the suspect in San Jose and arrested him on suspicion of grand theft and felony vandalism, Shih said.
