With a 4.072 GPA, Maria was named valedictorian, and was awarded the President\u2019s Volunteer Service Award, Harvard Book Award, the Detroit News Outstanding High School Graduate award in World Studies for 2026, College Board National Recognition Program, All-State Academic 2025 (field hockey), Scholastic-All Catholic three years, Individual Academic All-State Honoree (Lacrosse), and a winner of the World War II National Museum Writing Contest. Maria completed eight AP courses, was president of the Cultural Enrichment Club, and participated in Varsity Field hockey, (all four years, two years as captain), Club\/Travel Field Hockey, Varsity Lacrosse, as well as Club Rowing team and Varsity Rowing team. Maria participated in Ukrainian Culture and Studies and Ukrainian Plast Scouting Organization. Maria\u2019s volunteer service has included: research with the University of Michigan\u2019s Optimize program; Focus Hope, Evergreen Rehabilitation Center; Project Term Service Learning, assisted in rebuilding a coal-mining community through garden restoration projects, English tutor for French students (Nantes, France), supported Sustainable Farming with rural Puerto Rican farmers through fieldwork and learning (Carite, Puerto Rico), and conducted cultural research and fundraising to help support the building of Cultural Strengthening Centers, (Iquitos, Peru). Maria was a senior scout working toward Eagle Scout rank, and served as a counselor for younger scouts and a lifeguard at a refugee summer camp. Madison served as All-School Representative, Freshman Class Vice President, Sophomore Class Secretary\/Treasurer, ASH Ambassador, Big Sis\/Lil Sis Mentor, Debate & Ethics Bowl Team Captain, FIRST Robotics Team co-leader, co-founder Mental Health Matters Club, co-founder and co-leader of ASH SPACE Club. Madison was a member of the Varsity Ski Team, Varsity Tennis Team (Regional Semifinalist, Coach\u2019s Award), Varsity Cross Country Team, Pinnacle Club Ski Racing, and was an Equestrian Competitor, (Large pony Champion at the World Equestrian Center winter series). Yuriy was dual enrolled with Oakland Community College and participated in a Wayne State University engineering internship, Robotics and Automotive Teams, Career Readiness Academy through Detroit Economic Club, MyLead leadership conference, Cross Country, and Science National Honor Society. She was also a member of the Science National Honor Society and HOSA. Anastasiya participated in the Career Readiness Academy through the Detroit Economic Club and attended the MyLead leadership conference. She was the National Honor Society chapter president and participated in the Science National Honor Society. Kayleigh was the HOSA Chapter Founder and President, Senior Class Representative, MyLead Leadership Conference, Career Readiness Academy (Detroit Economic Club), OCCRA 2024, Robotics Business Team and ACYOA Youth Member. Her athletic activities included, Armenian Women\u2019s National Football Team U19 (European Football Association), Futsal Factory Academy Futsal Player, Michigan Jaguars Soccer Player and the school\u2019s soccer team. Ingeyla was an International Science and Engineering Fair Finalist, awarded First Place Oklahoma State Science and Engineering Fair, and 2nd Place Muslim Interscholastic Tournament Science Fair for two years. Ingeyla participated in HOSA, MSA (president), Rare Disease Awareness Club and Red Cross Club. Ingeyla\u2019s volunteer work included serving as an English and math tutor with non-profit Learn to Be, and a Taleem Al-Quran Teacher. Ingeyla plans to attend the University of Michigan.<\/p>\n

Lydia is 2025 co-author of \u201cThe Transparency and Public Availability of Asbestos Exposure Levels\u201d published in The Journal of Thoracic Disease; 2022-2026 Oakland Activities Association All Academic Scholar; and 11x Awardee and MHSAA Scholar-Athlete Award Winner. Lydia served on the Science National Honor Society, chapter president (12th), Junior Representative (11th); Superintendent Student Advisory Board (9th-12th); and participated in Varsity Cross Country Team, (9th-12th, captain 11th and 12th); Varsity Track and Field Team, (9th-12th, captain 11th and 12th); co-founder of Indoor Track Club (9th-12th); and was a member of the Berkley High, Troy High, Athens, and Avondale United Varsity Gymnastics Team, (10th-12th, captain 11th and 12th). Lydia participated in Henry Ford Health Department of Surgery Paid Summer 2025 High School Mentorship Program; and volunteered for 2025 Youth Spirit of Hope (200 hours of service) and volunteered at Corewell Hospital. Lydia plans to attend the University of Michigan, to study human origins, biology and behavior.<\/p>\n

She also served as vice president for her class and was the captain of the debate team. Nadia was on the Varsity Tennis team for four years and served as Captain, was a member of the National Honor Society and a committee leader for the district\u2019s elementary schools. She was the main point person for the school\u2019s blood drive for the past three years. Nadia plans to attend the University of Michigan to study biology, health and society.<\/p>\n

A 4.4 student, Brandon was awarded AP Scholar with Distinction, \u201cBear of the Year\u201d for both soccer and wrestling (awarded to the athlete with the highest GPA on each team), All-OAA Academic honors for varsity soccer and wrestling and National Honor Society Michigan Community Impact Award in recognition of volunteer work. Brandon participated in Varsity Wrestling throughout high school, serving as captain for two years, helping lead the team to a district title; and he played soccer all four years, including two years at the varsity level. Brandon was active in the Youth Federation of Temple Israel for four years, serving as vice president of Jewish Community Relations for two years, and he participated in the Jewish Student Union at Berkley High School, including a one year role as the head of recruitment. Brandon participated in the Coalition for Black & Jewish Unity Leadership Academy, working to build meaningful connections between Jewish and African American communities, including traveling to Washington, D.C., to speak to policymakers. Brandon also served as the head coach of a middle school NFL SNAP Flag Football team for three seasons. Brandon plans to attend the University of Michigan.<\/p>\n

Charles served as president of the school chapter of Fellowship of Christian Athletes, 2024-25 NHS Small Group Leader, and played concert band-saxophone all four years. He became a BSA Eagle Scout, leading a community service project in partnership with Play-Place Autism & Special Needs Center in Sterling Heights, and served 40+ community service hours with BSA.
