What to expect from Giants vs. Cubs on Sunday Night Baseball

This week’s Sunday Night Baseball arrives at the end of a weekend-long series, and that series marks the first time the Cubs and the Giants have faced off this season. There’ll be a lot of these teams getting to know each other on Friday and Saturday, which makes Sunday a bit unpredictable.

That said, each team has some distinct advantages, and for the Giants, it starts with their batting. Despite one of the worst records in MLB at the moment, their collective batting average is one of the best, thanks in no small part to second baseman Luis Arraez, who boasts one of the best batting averages in all of baseball at the moment.

Defensively, Chicago seems to have the upper hand, with a better overall pitching corps and better fielding, including almost half the errors the Giants have accrued so far this season. It’s the end of a three-game stretch, though, so anything can happen. Tune in to find out which team winds up on top.

This weekend, the San Francisco Giants head to Wrigley Field for a three-game series against the Chicago Cubs.…

[30
9454,1334,9453,9455,101,103,102,104,106,105,37179,9456
post-350720","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","category-san-francisco","tag-episodic","tag-mlb","tag-nbc-sports","tag-peacock","tag-san-francisco","tag-san-francisco-headlines","tag-san-francisco-news","tag-sf","tag-sf-headlines","tag-sf-news","tag-sunday-night-baseball","tag-where-to-watch
["GET
