(KFSN) &#8212; A 21-year-old man is in custody after Fresno County deputies say he stabbed his dad to death.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">The Fresno County Sheriff&#8217;s Office was called out to a home near Shaw and Grantland just before midnight on Saturday.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">Deputies found 79-year-old Freeman Hunter Jr. suffering from injuries. Despite efforts to save him, he was declared dead at the scene.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">Authorities took his son, 21-year-old Freeman Hunter III, into custody. He was booked in the Fresno County Jail with a $1 million bail.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">Deputies are still investigating what led up to the stabbing.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">Anyone with more information is asked to contact the Fresno County Sheriff&#8217;s Office.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC eTIW sUzSN \">If you are the victim of domestic abuse, or you know someone who is, there is help available 24\/7.
