{"id":351937,"date":"2026-06-08T19:03:08","date_gmt":"2026-06-08T19:03:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ca\/351937\/"},"modified":"2026-06-08T19:03:08","modified_gmt":"2026-06-08T19:03:08","slug":"two-wounded-in-shooting-outside-south-san-jose-medical-offices-east-bay-times","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ca\/351937\/","title":{"rendered":"Two wounded in shooting outside South San Jose medical offices \u2013 East Bay Times"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>SAN JOSE \u2014 A man and woman were rushed to the hospital following a shooting reported Monday morning in the parking lot of a Kaiser Permanente medical complex on Cottle Road, police said.<\/p>\n<p>The gunfire was reported at 10:14 a.m. on Cottle Road just north of where Beswick Drive turns into Raleigh Road, amid a series of nondescript medical offices housed across the street from a busy shopping plaza, according to a <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/SJPD_PIO\/status\/2064045168165335270\" rel=\"nofollow\">social-media post<\/a> from the San Jose Police Department.<\/p>\n<p>Police said both wounded people were transported with life-threatening injuries. The department did not immediately release additional details other than stating a belief that the shooting was \u201can isolated incident,\u201d and declined comment when asked if the suspected shooter is outstanding or among the injured parties.<\/p>\n<p>Streets surrounding the crime scene were expected to be closed or restricted while investigators examine the site, police said.<\/p>\n<p>This is a developing story.
