Last week, it was announced that she\u2019d be playing Chase Center, and before tickets even went on sale, demand is high enough to warrant a second show.<\/p>\n<p>Bridgers is scheduled to perform on Oct. 27 and 28, with official artist presale tickets available on June 9 and general tickets available on June 12 at 10 a.m.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The indie rocker has been active since the mid-2010s, playing shows in the Los Angeles area since she was in high school. She\u2019s known for poetic and confessional lyrics, mixed with instrumentation that ranges from the somber acoustic guitar strumming of \u201cScott Street\u201d to the cacophonous wall of sound on \u201cI Know the End.\u201d In 2021, she performed \u201cI Know the End\u201d on \u201cSaturday Night Live,\u201d concluding the song by smashing her guitar onstage. In addition to her solo work, she serves as one-third of the folk supergroup Boygenius alongside Julien Baker and Lucy Dacus. She also released a collaborative album with Conor Oberst of Bright Eyes called \u201cBetter Oblivion Community Center\u201d in 2019. Indie rocker Alex G is slated to open the San Francisco shows, while Black Country, New Road frontman Isaac Wood is slated to\u00a0open the international leg of the tour alongside\u00a0Anais Meir.<\/p>\n<p>Notably, the show will be phone-free, with Bridgers enlisting the company <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sfgate.com\/bayarea\/article\/school-cellphone-bans-study-22248101.php\" data-link=\"native\" class=\"\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Yondr<\/a> to supply attendees with locking pouches to keep their phones off. It\u2019s a move she\u2019s used over the past weeks as she\u2019s tested out new material on a tour of small towns like Roswell, New Mexico.
