The Bay Area has been one of the most meaningful regions for electronic dance music star and San Jose native Gryffin, making it a fitting place for him to launch a major career milestone celebration.<\/p>\n
Gryffin, whose real name is Dan Griffith, is set to launch his 10th anniversary tour at the Cow Palace in Daly City from June 12-13, revisiting hits spanning his decade-long career. The four-part series also plans to bring his hybrid EDM sound, which melds elements of house, dance-pop and future bass, to New York, Los Angeles and Denver.<\/p>\n
While he\u2019s no longer based in Northern California, Gryffin frequently returns to his hometown for major appearances, including Outside Lands at Golden Gate Park in San Francisco and New Year\u2019s Eve at the Fort Mason Center for Arts & Culture.<\/p>\n
