HUNTINGTON BEACH, CA \u2014 A Huntington Beach woman was arrested for child endangerment when her baby was found alone in a hot car, police said Monday. <\/p>\n
Huntington Beach police officers received a report of a child locked inside of a vehicle over the weekend.<\/p>\n
Upon arrival, police found a baby alone in the car with windows “only slightly cracked.”<\/p>\n
Police found the child’s mouth inside a nearby business, police said.<\/p>\n
Authorities say the baby was hot and sweaty when they were removed from the vehicle. <\/p>\n
According to police, the baby’s mother admitted to leaving the child unattended for several minutes and was arrested for child endangerment. She was not identified. <\/p>\n
The baby was released to their father, police said.<\/p>\n
