(KBAK\/KBFX) \u2014 The Kern County Sheriff\u2019s Office announced that a body was recovered from the Kern River.<\/p>\n<p>KCSO said the body was recovered from the river on Thursday, June 11, by Search and Rescue.<\/p>\n<p>Family of the missing man said on social media that the body recovered was that of the man who was <a href=\"https:\/\/bakersfieldnow.com\/news\/local\/search-launched-near-lake-isabella-after-report-of-man-swept-away-in-kern-river-kern-county-california\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">swept away by the Kern River on June 6. <\/a><\/p>\n<p>The identity of the person will be released by the coroner at a later date.<\/p>\n<p>Comment with Bubbles<\/p>\n<p>BE THE FIRST TO COMMENT<\/p>\n<p>This is a developing story.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"BAKERSFIELD, Calif.
