Clovis High is 2-0 in pool play of the Central Section Division I volleyball playoffs.<\/p>\n
The top-seeded Cougars defeated No. 5 Centennial in straight sets and No. 4 Liberty-Bakersfield in four sets.<\/p>\n
Clovis awaits the winner of the other teams to determine their opponent for the Central Section championship.<\/p>\n
Still in contention are No. 3 Buchanan and No. 6 Clovis West. Both teams are 1-0 and will play at 6 p.m. Tuesday.<\/p>\n
The championship will take place Nov. 6.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, in girls\u2019 tennis, no surprises have occurred.<\/p>\n
The semifinals will be played on Tuesday, with the championships taking place on Nov. 12.<\/p>\n
