(FOX26)  \u2014 A driver accused of leaving the scene of a three-vehicle crash at a busy Clovis intersection was arrested on suspicion of DUI and hit-and-run Friday afternoon.<\/p>\n<p>Officers responded to a three-vehicle collision at Alluvial and Fowler just before 1 p.m.<\/p>\n<p>[RELATED] <a href=\"https:\/\/kmph.com\/news\/crime\/clovis-checkpoint-closes-early-due-to-dui-hit-and-run-crash-barstow-between-villa-minnewawa-impaired-driving-related-crashes-promote-public-safety\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Clovis checkpoint closes early due to DUI hit-and-run crash<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Police said one of the drivers left the scene in their vehicle but was located nearby after the driver ran off the side of the road.<\/p>\n<p>The driver who left the scene, identified as 37-year-old Kenneth Phelps, was arrested for suspicion of DUI and hit-and-run. <\/p>\n<p>No one was injured in the collision, police said.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"CLOVIS, Calif.
