Oakland County Restaurant Quest: Overtyme Grill in Waterford<\/p>\n

Waterford, MI \u2013 The quest to try every restaurant in Oakland County continues with OverTyme Grill and Tap Room in Waterford. This is a spot with lots of TVs, plus pool tables, games, and even concerts and events. Food-wise, there are many choices to meet your moods, so I\u2019ve made a couple of visits to try out the variety.<\/p>\n

My favorite was the pizza. I got the OverTyme Supreme, topped with pepperoni, sausage, ham, olives, mushrooms, green pepper and onion. Their dough is perfect, with just the right amount of softness and browning on the crust. And the toppings were piled on generously for a delicious pizza that I have gone back for since my first order.<\/p>\n

On another visit I had the Chicken Bacon Ranch Wrap, which also would be another repeat for me if the pizza weren\u2019t so darn good. The wrap is made with crispy chicken, nice sized pieces of chopped bacon, lettuce, cheese, and diced tomatoes. This is a great choice for lunch or dinner. I had mine with onion rings, which were nice, thick, and greasy in a good way. I also tried a cup of chili topped with onions and cheese \u2013 another flavorful and filling experience.<\/p>\n

Lastly was the Pulled Pork Mac n Cheese, with penne noodles in a white cheddar sauce topped with sweet and savory pulled pork and chopped scallions. Also, delicious.<\/p>\n

OverTyme has a number of other great choices, including the Italian Grinder, Smokey Bacon Jam Grilled Cheese Sandwich, Fish n Chips, Sirloin Steak, BBQ Ribs, and Honey Walnut Chicken Salad. They also have some options when it comes to burgers, including the Sweet Heat Pimento Cheese Burger, or the Cowboy Burger made with melted cheddar, bacon, Nashville hot sauce, and crispy fried onions.<\/p>\n

Other popular items include Smoked Jumbo Wings, Fajitas, Fried Pickle Spears, and Tri-Color Tortellini.<\/p>\n
