{"id":361667,"date":"2026-06-15T18:32:16","date_gmt":"2026-06-15T18:32:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ca\/361667\/"},"modified":"2026-06-15T18:32:16","modified_gmt":"2026-06-15T18:32:16","slug":"the562-reveals-winners-of-2nd-annual-student-photo-competition-the562-org","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ca\/361667\/","title":{"rendered":"The562 Reveals Winners of 2nd Annual Student Photo Competition \u2013 The562.org"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>After another compelling competition between some of the best young photographers in Long Beach, The562 is thrilled to announce the winning submissions in our 2nd Annual Student Photo Competition.<\/p>\n<p>The562 would like to thank Long Beach Transit and Tuttle Cameras for their support of 2025-26 edition of the photo competition, which is open to Long Beach Unified School District students in grades 7-12.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.the562.org\/2025\/06\/16\/the562-announces-winners-of-inaugural-student-photo-competition\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" title=\"\">CLICK HERE<\/a> to see the winning photos from the 2024-25 competition<\/p>\n<p>Prizes will be awarded to the winning photo and runner-up in four different categories:<\/p>\n<p>Sports\/Action Photos<\/p>\n<p>Feature Photos<\/p>\n<p>Artistic\/Landscape Photos<\/p>\n<p>On-Campus News Photos<\/p>\n<p>Students could submit a photo in all four categories, but were only eligible to win once. We will also be highlighting honorable mention submissions in each of the categories. <\/p>\n<p>The winner of the Best Overall Photo will receive a larger prize, and this year it went to the winner of the Best Artistic\/Landscape Photo, submitted by Otoniel Itehua from Wilson High School.<\/p>\n<p>Scroll down to see all the winners in this year\u2019s competition, and thank you to all the students
