Detectives and investigative technicians from the Shasta County Sheriff\u2019s Office responded and processed the residence,\u201d the Shasta County Sheriff’s Office said in a social media post.Investigators determined that the suspect in this case, 28-year-old Jordan Newton Moore, was the victim\u2019s live-in caregiver.Witnesses said Moore had not been seen at the home for several weeks and that Thomas\u2019 vehicle was also missing.An arrest warrant was obtained on Friday for first-degree murder.Then on Sunday, the suspect was found and arrested in Marina by the Marina Police Department.Moore is awaiting extradition back to Shasta County and remains in custody at the Monterey County Jail.\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n
