IT\u2019S A MOTORCYCLE VERSUS A SEDAN. THREE OF THE FOUR LANES ARE CLOSED, SO YOU CAN SEE EASTBOUND 80 BIG BACK UP THERE ALL THE WAY BACK TOWARDS TRUXEL ROAD. SO KEEP THAT IN MIND. ALSO SOME MINOR SLOWING WESTBOUND ONTO THE CAUSEWAY. THAT\u2019S JUST TRAFFIC THERE. THE REST OF 80 LOOKING GOOD. HIGHWAY 50 LOOKING GOOD. COMING IN FROM FOLSOM. HERE\u2019S I-5 AT ARENA BOULEVARD. NO PROBLEMS TO REPORT ALONG THIS STRETCH. AND I-5 ALSO CLEAR AS YOU\u2019RE COMING UP THROUGH FROM ELK GROVE THROUGH THE POCKET. A 14 MINUTE RIDE ON 99 RIGHT NOW I-5, A TEN MINUTE RIDE,\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n

The crash was reported around 7:30 a.m. east of Norwood Avenue. CHP said the motorcycle rider was unable to stop before rear-ending a vehicle during stop-and-go traffic. The rider was ejected and thrown into the path of another vehicle. Three lanes are closed, leaving cars to move through the no. 1 lane and center divider, CHP said.
